Tanya Mejia is the Accounting Practice Leader for 1Source and oversees all accounting services provided to clients. Prior to joining the 1Source management team, she was the Chief Financial Officer of a large nationwide organization. Her responsibilities included overseeing the accounting and financial functions of the organization including the financial systems, business operations, risk management and regulatory compliance. Tanya’s commitment to continuous process improvement assisted the organization in maintaining its impeccable reputation and operational excellence.

Prior to her position as Chief Financial Officer, Tanya was a “Big 4” executive providing assurance and business advisory services to a wide range of clients. Tanya has experience performing internal audits, business process risk reviews, and financial statement audits. Tanya also has significant experience in developing and implementing process improvement plans.

Tanya received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from the University of South Florida. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American and Florida Institute of CPAs. Tanya is also Past Chair of the University of South Florida Accounting Circle Board and served on the Tampa Board of the American Cancer Society and the Hispanic Business Initiative Fund Technical Assistance Committee.

Paul DeGance is the Tax Practice Leader for 1Source and oversees all tax services provided to clients. Paul has over 17 years of experience in public accounting, financial operations, and strategic planning for companies ranging from multinational public entities to startups. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers serving various supervisory and management positions within the firm. Paul left PwC to form DeGance & DeGance, an accounting practice focused on providing outsourced CFO/Treasury services, Sarbanes-Oxley §404 consulting, tax planning and tax compliance strategies to startup and middle market clients with a heavy emphasis on transactional services. In 2016 he joined forces with William Ferrell, CPA to create Ferrell & DeGance, LLC.

Paul has extensive experience in business, individual, estate and multistate taxation within a wide range of client types and industries.

Paul holds a Masters of Accounting from the University of Florida and is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida (Certificate of Merit – 2002 Exam). He is a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants (AICPA).

Paul Hays is the Assurance Practice Leader at 1Source, overseeing all assurance services with over 33 years of public accounting experience. Recognized for his business acumen and financial expertise, Paul excels in driving organizational growth, managing cross-functional initiatives, and communicating effectively with corporate governance stakeholders. He specializes in analyzing operations, providing actionable recommendations to improve strategies and performance, and aligning operational decisions with financial goals.

Paul began his career at Ernst & Young, serving accelerated filers and PE-backed companies, and later led franchise, retail, and technology practices at CliftonLarsonAllen in Florida. He is skilled in team development, fostering collaboration, and career growth.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Le Moyne College and is a licensed CPA in Florida. He is a member of the AICPA, FICPA, and has served on multiple boards in the Tampa Bay area.
